Why can’t you work part-time on your business? When do you decide to make your business a side hustle to protect your mental health?

As an Entrepreneur, you make tough decisions all the time. Your business growth is not always linear, and sometimes it has to take a back seat to allow for a bigger vision.

Megan te Boekhorst, owner of the clothing line 1in5 and aspiring influencer of Mentally Megan, sits down to discuss why she returned to a 9 to 5.

Megan was a full-time entrepreneur playing in her business when 2020 hit. She took a hard look at her business and decided it was best to return back to a 9-5, as product production came to a halt. With no foreseeable income and no product to sell, Megan stayed focused on her end goal and found a position that would allow her to continue to work towards her dreams.

Megan sits down with me to discuss what it was like to sit in the emotions of returning back to work and allowing herself to assess the situation with a level mind for the bigger picture.
